Are removable dbkillers allowed? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations. This is only permitted for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on roads does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If there are issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation when using the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on track only, without bags, flashlights, or license plate holders or other parts that may interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will void the product warranty, and any return requests will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with a right to repair, with return to the GPR factory or to the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
