Original GPR product, developed through extensive experience in the World Motorcycle Championship, offers an innovative design, improved performance, relevant weight savings and enhanced sound for the bike.
Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permissible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to seek information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the bike are required for the installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if it is on the track only, without a luggage rack, flashlight, number plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different angle of gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. This applies from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
