Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or security screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit only applies to local citizens, not tourists.
It is designed to be mounted in a high position. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and without license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the repaired one; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
