Are dbkillers removable? Altering dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different angle of the throttle due to conversion to the race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
