Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the changed gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any warranty claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
