The Puez 2 Knit Powertex are designed for a smooth roll and lasting comfort during short or long mountain hikes on rough trails and varied terrain, or for everyday versatile exploration in the city. They feature a durable abrasion-resistant knitted nylon upper, reinforced with an external toe cap, and a rubber protective sole with a waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane without PFC, as well as an eco-efficient alpine hemp midsole.

Circular and sustainable:
Designed with a circular manufacturing approach, the midsole at the forefoot made of Alpine Hemp is crafted from recycled hemp fabric scraps and virgin hemp, reducing the use of virgin EVA, which saves resources and provides a sustainable perspective without sacrificing performance. We apply the same concept to durable laces, and for this model, we combine Alpine Hemp with recycled polyester.

Durable comfort:
Their special trekking shape, double EVA midsole with progressive stiffness, and softer cushioning at the heel, along with their recycled soft and customizable CFF insole with the included Volume Reducer, promote enhanced comfort and a tailored fit.

Adaptive and technical:
The Puez 2 Knit Mid Powertex feature a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole for grip and traction on technical terrains. At the core of its structure integrated with the insole, the new Salewa Edging Plate II, a special thermoplastic frame that extends throughout the length of the shoes, provides both increased flex and rebound for lasting walking comfort, with specific levels of stiffness and flex at the forefoot and heel for targeted rigidity, as well as increased stability. Additionally, the 3F system from Salewa, with Kevlar® cables, ensures good ankle support and enveloping stability around the midfoot. This system is further enhanced by the climbing lacing that descends down to the toes. These trekking shoes feature the Salewa Committed logo and meet our strict criteria for sustainable development and environmentally-friendly manufacturing.
