Composition: Blue Steel (54% carbon and 46% manganese)

This bit has a direct action and its double jointed design avoids pressure on the palate.

The Blue Steel oxidises when in contact with air and moisture. A fine layer of rust with a sweet taste appears and naturally stimulates the production of saliva. By salivating more, the horse makes more contact with its bit. During this oxidation process, the colour will change, and the blue will turn into a grey/brown.
