RFX Front motorcycle wheel spacer Pro Series

The wheel spacers RFX Pro Series are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised in colour to enhance durability. This reduces surface wear and limits dirt ingress into the hub, thus extending the life of the bearing.

Designed with a rear lip to keep them attached to the seals, this reduces the risk of dropping them during maintenance and speeds up wheel changes.

The products RFX are tested and used by many top-level British Grand Prix and Motocross teams.

Installation instructions

• Start with the bike on a stand, wheels off the ground.
• Remove the main axle nut and loosen the pinch bolts on the bottom of the forks.
• Remove the wheel axle; a brass punch and hammer may be needed if it's tight.
• The front wheel can now be removed.
• The rear wheel should now be loose enough to push forward and lift the chain off the rear sprocket.
• The rear wheel can now be removed.
• Remove the wheel spacers.
• Clean around the seals with a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact and re-grease under the seal.
• Install the new wheel spacers.
• Pry the brake pads apart inside the calipers to help with wheel reinstallation.
• Reinstall the wheels and insert the axles.
• Reinstall the chain and adjust the correct tension by adjusting the axle sliders.
• Tighten the main axle nuts to the proper torque.
• Bike off the stand, pump the forks.
