RFX Front motorcycle wheel spacer Pro Series

The wheel spacers RFX Pro Series are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised in colour to enhance durability. This reduces surface wear and limits dirt penetration into the hub, thus extending the bearing life.

Designed with a rear lip to keep them attached to the seals, this reduces the risk of dropping them during maintenance and speeds up wheel changes.

The products RFX are tested and used by numerous high-level British Grand Prix and Motocross teams.

Installation instructions

• Start with the bike on a stand, with the wheels off the ground.
• Remove the main spindle nut and loosen the pinch bolts at the bottom of the forks.
• Remove the wheel spindle, a brass punch and hammer may be needed if tight.
• The front wheel can now be removed.
• The rear wheel should now be loose enough to push forward and lift the chain off the rear sprocket.
• The rear wheel can now be removed.
• Remove the wheel spacers.
• Clean around the seals with a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact and re-grease under the seal.
• Install the new wheel spacers.
• Spread the brake pads inside the calipers to ease wheel refitting.
• Reinstall the wheels and insert the spindles.
• Reattach the chain and adjust the tension appropriately by adjusting the axle adjusters.
• Tighten the main spindle nuts to the proper torque.
• Bike off the stand, pump the forks.
