If you're not carrying a passenger, the exhaust supports are a great way to finish off and replace the rear footpegs.
It's not very stylish to remove one footpeg and leave the other because you need it to mount the exhaust.
The exhaust supports completely replace the footpeg and provide you with a sturdy and sleek support for mounting the exhaust.
You can also get a kit (which is not available on all bikes) that includes a footpeg blanking plate for the opposite side to cover the bolt holes left when the footpeg is removed.
