The sleek 20 l ski touring backpack is aimed at purists. It’s just the right size to carry essential gear like safety equipment, a sleeping bag, and provisions, yet it can still flatten against your back for easy transport on a ski lift. Despite its compact silhouette, it has everything you would expect from a ski touring backpack. The avalanche shovel is stored in the main compartment on the side away from your back. Skis and snowboards can be attached in different ways for steep ascents; attachments for an ice axe and poles are also available. When climbing, the updated helmet attachment securely holds both compact touring helmets and bulkier ski helmets. Inside, there’s a padded goggles case, a valuables pocket, and a compartment for a hydration system. A clever feature: all the zips, eyelets, and buckles are easy to handle with gloves. On the descent, the carry system combining Ergoshape straps with the Synergy-Mold back repels snow, while seamless stabilizers ensure a perfect fit. The fully recycled polyamide makes the ski touring backpack very robust, water-repellent, and dirt-resistant thanks to the PFC-free Eco Finish treatment.
