The Ovation M Class helmet features an outer shell made of matte polycarbonate and advanced ABS composite; injected shell design; washable quick-drying lining that wicks moisture and is antimicrobial; stainless steel mesh; padded harness for comfort with synthetic suede lining, hook and loop adjustment. For better comfort and air circulation, the Ovation M Class helmet comes with a large front ventilation system, a ventilated top central band, and two vents on the rear sides. For enhanced protection against brain injuries, this helmet is equipped with a multi-directional impact protection system (MIPS). MIPS is designed to add protection against rotational motion transferred to the brain during angled impacts to the head. Rotational motion is a combination of rotational energy and forces resulting from angular acceleration that both increase the risk of brain injury.
