Didriksons Women's parka Gila

Gila is a functional parka suitable for everyday use and outdoor activities. It's designed for year-round wear and features a ventilation opening under the yoke at the back for added comfort. The parka is waterproof and windproof with sealed seams and made from breathable material, making it ideal for all weather conditions.

It has a two-way zipper at the front and an inner flap for ventilation. The hood is fixed and can be adjusted in two directions with a drawstring, and it has a shaped brim for extra protection. The cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro for a perfect fit. The parka has an inner pocket with a zipper and four outer pockets with buttons for secure storage. Reflective details, including a logo, enhance visibility in the dark. The zipper never rests directly against the chin thanks to the design of the collar.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water-resistant, lightweight, breathable, or wick moisture away from the body. All these properties or only some of them are combined, depending on the function of the garment. Compared to natural materials, polyester has the advantage of having more resilient fibers that last longer. Furthermore, synthetic materials such as polyester require less water in their production, which is essential in our efforts to reduce water consumption. Some of our garments utilize recycled and/or recyclable polyester.

Our story began with the production of rainwear that protected fishermen from water and cold at sea. Since then, we have continued to protect people from water and cold, except that today it's also about protecting water from man. The goal is to create quality products that last for years. We focus on sustainable materials, tested, dyeing processes with less water and chemicals used, as well as PFC-free impregnations. Our garments never contain animal materials like fur, leather, or down.
