Didriksons Parka Sören

Sören is a protective parka against the elements, functional and durable, suitable for everyday use as well as outdoor activities. It is fully waterproof and windproof with sealed seams and made from breathable material. The parka has a straight cut and features a fixed hood that can be adjusted in two directions with a drawstring, along with an additional protective edge.

The front closure consists of a two-way zip that offers flexibility and ventilation. The cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro for a perfect fit. The parka has several practical pockets, including a chest pocket and front pockets with zips, as well as an inner pocket for secure storage. The zip never rests directly against the chin thanks to the collar design.

Polyamide has the advantage over natural materials of lasting longer, and it is one of the most abrasion-resistant materials for clothing.

All these properties or just some of them are combined, depending on the function of the garment. Compared to natural materials, polyester has the advantage of having more abrasion-resistant fibers that last longer. Moreover, synthetic materials like polyester require less water during their production, an essential part of our efforts to reduce our water consumption. Some of our garments incorporate recycled and/or recyclable polyester.

Our story began with the production of rainwear that protected fishermen from water and cold at sea. Since then, we've continued to protect people from water and cold, but today it’s also about protecting water from man. The aim is to create quality products that last for years. We focus on sustainable materials, tested, dyeing processes that use less water and chemicals, as well as PFC-free treatments. The garments never contain animal materials like fur, leather, or down.
