Didriksons Waterproof Jacket Grit 4

Grit is designed to meet the demands of everyday life as well as time spent outdoors, combining a sleek design with high functionality. Made from durable polyamide fabric, the jacket is intended for year-round use and to withstand changing weather conditions. Coupled with high-performance construction, the material offers a protection of 15,000 mm and breathability of 4,000 g/m²/24 h. The jacket is fully waterproof and windproof thanks to sealed seams - designed to perform in all weather.

With a comfortable fit, Grit provides both functionality and freedom of movement. The adjustable hood has a drawstring and a shaped visor for enhanced protection during weather changes.

Carefully considered details enhance the experience: adjustable Velcro cuffs, adjustable hem with drawstring, and water-repellent zips in exposed areas. The front zip features protective construction to avoid direct contact with the chin. Multiple pockets - including a zipped inner pocket and two zipped outer pockets - keep your essentials secure.

Polyamide has the advantage over natural materials of lasting longer and is one of the most durable materials for clothing.

Polyester is a synthetic fabric used in garments that need to be water-repellent, lightweight, breathable or that wick moisture from the body. All these properties or only some of them are brought together, depending on the function of the garment. Compared to natural materials, polyester has the advantage of having fibers that are more durable and last longer. Additionally, synthetic materials like polyester require less water during production, which is essential in our efforts to reduce water consumption. Some of our garments are made from recycled and/or recyclable polyester.

Our story began with the production of rainwear that protected fishermen from water and cold at sea. Since then, we have continued to protect people from water and cold, but today it’s also about protecting water against man. The goal is to create quality products that last for years. We focus on sustainable materials, tested, dyeing processes with less water use and chemicals, as well as PFC-free treatments. The garments never contain animal materials such as fur, leather, or down.
