Fabrics & materials
The Show Rug is made from high-strength 600D polyester with elegant and timeless diamond quilting. This makes the rug incredibly difficult to tear and prevents shavings from sticking to it. To avoid pressure on the shoulders and withers, the neck of the Show Rug is made from much-loved faux sheepskin. Besides its stylish look, faux sheepskin is also much more comfortable. For example, when the horse eats, the rug doesn't cut into the chest. The rug has a filling of fibre of 160g, which offers the same performance as down but doesn’t absorb any odors. To prevent rubbing marks, the rug is lined with our signature rabbit faux fur. This fabric is extremely soft and creates a shiny effect on the horse's coat. Additionally, the rabbit faux fur creates small air pockets. These pockets trap and retain the horse's body heat, creating an extra insulating layer. The combination of materials creates a highly breathable rug with excellent heat-to-weight ratio.

Shape & size
The Show Rug has an anatomical shape and thanks to the rabbit faux fur, you don’t have to worry about the position of the rug, as it always stays in place. For better pressure distribution, the front flaps close in a Z shape and the front fastenings are easily adjustable for a better fit. The straps and elastic cord are also adjustable and detachable. Thanks to the flexibility of the Show Rug, it can be used for multiple purposes and combined with other Kentucky rugs.
The buckles are made from stainless steel and therefore do not rust. The straps of the show rug are made from the same webbing as safety belts, making them extremely strong. The brass finish on the buckles and patches in faux leather gives the Show Rug a very chic look.

Care guide
In addition to its stylish look, we found it important to have products that are easy to maintain. That's why the elastic cord has a plastic coating, and the show rug is washable. When washed at 30 degrees and without using a tumble dryer, the quality of the materials remains optimal.
