The Hack-Q® noseband, wide and slightly padded, should be positioned as shown in the drawing, so that the horse can breathe properly and the bones of the nose are avoided. The large surface area of the noseband ensures that cues are given to your horse in a light and consistent manner. When combined with the Hack-Q® bars, the noseband does not slide up or down. The pressure will never be greater than the weight you hold in your hands. And thanks to the design of the Hack-Q® bars, the noseband is positioned higher on the head than the throat latch.

The Hack-Q® noseband, short and lightweight, should be placed higher than the throat latch. This allows the device to fit perfectly and for the most sensitive part of the device to adjust accordingly. The leverage effect of the device ensures that signals from the device are verified and inverted over a large lever. When using a Hack-Q® device, it should not be too high or too low. The weight should not exceed what you have in your hand. Similarly, the position of the needle is more important than that of the main needle when using Hack-Q® devices.
