Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
2in1 SX No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or visible tutorials on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any warranty claims will be denied. From the date of purchase, with right to repair by returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official dealer at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait a standard time for the repair.
