The Renthal sprockets are made from a specially developed steel (nickel-chrome-molybdenum), case-hardened and refined at the core to provide the best combination of strength and hardness.

• Material: Nickel-chrome-molybdenum steel, case-hardened and core refined.
• ULTRALIGHT: Excess material machined away to reduce weight. Less rotating mass = faster engine acceleration and reduced over-run.
• GROOVED: Grooves under the tooth to allow mud to escape that may get trapped between the crown and the chain.

The evacuation cuts prevent mud from putting extra tension on the chain, avoiding premature wear.
