The Renthal sprockets are made from a specially developed steel (nickel-chrome-molybdenum), heat treated and refined at the core to provide the optimal combination of strength and hardness.

• ULTRALIGHT: Excess material machined away to reduce mass. Less rotational mass = faster engine acceleration and reduced over-run.
• GROOVED: Cutouts under the tooth to allow mud to escape that might otherwise get stuck between the sprocket and chain.

The drain cuts prevent mud from putting extra strain on the chain, which helps avoid premature wear.
