RFX Rear wheel spacer for motorcycle Pro Series

The wheel spacers RFX Pro Series are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and coloured anodised, they resist surface wear and limit dirt entry into the hub, extending the lifespan of the bearings.

A rear shoulder keeps the spacers attached to the seals, preventing them from falling off during maintenance and speeding up wheel changes.

Installation instructions:

1. Place the bike on a bike stand, with the wheels off the ground.
2. Remove the large axle nut and loosen the pinch bolts on the bottom of the fork crown.
3. Extract the wheel axle; a brass punch and hammer may be needed if the axle is stuck.
4. The front wheel can then be removed.
5. The rear wheel should be free enough to be pushed forward to release the chain from the sprocket.
6. Remove the rear wheel.
7. Take out the wheel spacers.
8. Clean the inside and around the seals with contact cleaner (e.g. Maxima Electrical Contact) and re-grease under the seal.
9. Fit the new spacers.
10. Spread the pads in the brake calipers to facilitate the repositioning of the wheel.
11. Reinstall the wheels and insert the axles.
12. Reattach the chain and adjust the tension using the axle adjusters.
13. Tighten the axle nuts to the recommended torque.
14. Once the bike is on its wheels, compress the fork several times to align the tubes, then tighten the pinch bolts.
15. Operate the brakes to realign the calipers.
