RFX Rear wheel spacer for motorcycle Pro Series

The wheel spacers RFX Pro Series are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and coloured anodised, they resist surface wear and limit dirt entering the hub, extending the life of the bearings.

A rear shoulder keeps the spacers attached to the seals, preventing them from dropping during maintenance and speeding up wheel changes.

Installation instructions:

1. Place the bike on a motorcycle lift, with wheels off the ground.
2. Remove the large axle nut and loosen the pinch bolts on the bottom of the fork yoke.
3. Pull the wheel axle out; a brass drift and hammer may be needed if the axle is stuck.
4. The front wheel can then be removed.
5. The rear wheel must be free enough to be pushed forward to release the chain from the sprocket.
6. Remove the rear wheel.
7. Take out the wheel spacers.
8. Clean the inside and around the seals with a contact cleaner (e.g., Maxima Electrical Contact) and re-grease under the seal.
9. Install the new spacers.
10. Spread the pads in the brake calipers to help reposition the wheel.
11. Put the wheels back in place and insert the axles.
12. Reinstall the chain and adjust the tension using the axle adjusters.
13. Tighten the axle nuts to the recommended torque.
14. Once the bike is on its wheels, compress the forks several times to align the tubes, then tighten the pinch bolts.
15. Activate the brakes to realign the calipers.
